Dabei reagieren Wasserstoff (H<sub>2<\/sub>) und Kohlendioxid (CO<sub>2<\/sub>) in einem speziellen Reaktor und erzeugen Kohlenmonoxid (CO) und Wasserdampf (H<sub>2<\/sub>O) . Das Ziel dieser Reaktion ist es, aus einer Mischung aus Kohlenmonoxid (CO) und Wasserstoff (H<sub>2<\/sub>) das Synthesegas herzustellen, welches der Ausgangsstoff f\u00fcr die Kraftstoffproduktion im n\u00e4chsten Schritt ist.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hotspot-info\" id=\"hotspot-hotspot-3884-4\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"hotspot-title\">Liquid Fuel Reaktor<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"hotspot-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Im Liquid Fuel Reaktor wird der Wasserstoff (H<sub>2<\/sub>) aus den vorherigen Schritten zusammen mit Kohlenmonoxid (CO) in fl\u00fcssige Kraftstoffe umgewandelt. In einem speziellen chemischen Reaktor entstehen nach dem Fischer-Tropsch-Verfahren Kohlenwasserstoffe, die als Grundstoffe f\u00fcr Treibstoffe wie Benzin oder Kerosin dienen.<\/p>\n<p>An dieser Stelle kommt die Forschungsarbeit von CARE-O-SENE zum Einsatz: Der chemische Prozess, der hier zwischen Wasserstoff (H<sub>2<\/sub>) und Kohlenmonoxid (CO) stattfindet, wird mithilfe von Katalysatoren beschleunigt. CARE-O-SENE entwickelt und optimiert diese Katalysatoren, um das gesamte PtL-Verfahren und somit die Produktion von synthetischen Kraftstoffen effizienter zu gestalten.<\/p>\n<p>Das Ergebnis dieses Prozesses ist ein synthetischer Kraftstoff, der wie herk\u00f6mmlicher Flugzeugtreibstoff (Kerosin) funktioniert und direkt in bereits vorhandenen Flugzeugen verwendet werden kann, aber klimafreundlicher ist.
