Zu seinen weiteren Forschungsinteressen geh\u00f6ren die Herstellung und Charakterisierung von Nanomaterialien und deren Einsatz in katalytischen Anwendungen sowie die Entwicklung von Katalysatoren und neuartigen Instrumenten zur Charakterisierung von Katalysatoren unter Arbeitsbedingungen. Er hat zahlreiche Publikationen zu diesen Themen ver\u00f6ffentlicht, h\u00e4lt eine Reihe von Patenten und wurde von der National Research Foundation of South Africa mit einem A-Rating ausgezeichnet.<\/p><p>Ein gro\u00dfer Teil seiner Forschung wird in Zusammenarbeit mit industriellen Partnern durchgef\u00fchrt, insbesondere in einer langj\u00e4hrigen industriellen Kooperation mit Sasol R&amp;D.
