vor \u00fcber 10 Jahren, den Umfang seiner Arbeit von Solarenergie auf nachhaltige Kraftstoffe und Chemikalien auszuweiten, wobei er sich zun\u00e4chst mit der Entwicklung von Katalysatoren und Reaktoren f\u00fcr die Wasserstofferzeugung durch Wasserelektrolyse befasste.<\/p>\n<p>Als HZB-Projektleiter eines gro\u00dfen nationalen Projekts zu d\u00fcnnschichtbasierten Katalysatoren (\u201c<i>Catlab, Thin-Film Catalysts for Sustainable Chemistry with Renewable Energies<\/i>\u201d) war Rutger sehr daran interessiert, am CARE-O-SENE-Projekt teilzunehmen, um die neu entwickelten Materialien und Methoden zur Weiterentwicklung von Produkten und Reaktionen, insbesondere des Fischer-Tropsch-Verfahrens, einzusetzen.<\/p>\n<p>Rutger hat einen Doktortitel in Physik von der Freien
