Johannesburg, S\u00fcdafrika<\/strong>, 28.11.2022 \u2013 <\/strong>Nach dem Besuch des deutschen Botschafters in S\u00fcdafrika<\/a> empfing Sasol Operations nun zwei weitere deutsche Gesandte im Werk in Sasolburg: Till Mansmann, Innovationsbeauftragter f\u00fcr gr\u00fcnen Wasserstoff im Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR), und S.E. Enrico Brandt, stellvertretender deutscher Botschafter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gemeinsam machten sie sich ein Bild von der Arbeit, die im Rahmen des CARE-O-SENE-Projekts<\/a> durchgef\u00fchrt wird. Ziel des Projekts ist es, neuartige Fischer-Tropsch-Katalysatoren zu entwickeln, die f\u00fcr die Produktion von nachhaltigem Kerosin im industriellen Ma\u00dfstab ben\u00f6tigt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zwischen den obligatorischen Sicherheitseinf\u00fchrungen und einem gemeinsamen Rundgang im Werk, war die Besichtigung am vergangenen Montag gef\u00fcllt mit Themen wie nachhaltige Flugkraftstoffe, der Bedeutung von gr\u00fcnem Wasserstoff und dem innovativen Einsatz Sasols langj\u00e4hriger Erfahrung in der Fischer-Tropsch-Technologie. Dr. Denzil Moodley, leitender Wissenschaftler bei Sasol, gab dabei einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber den aktuellen Stand der Forschung und Technologie rund um CARE-O-SENE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit dem Besuch von Mansmann und Brandt in Sasolburg wird der internationale Austausch<\/a> zwischen Deutschland und S\u00fcdafrika weitergef\u00fchrt. Durch das Projekt werden so langfristige, strategische Kooperationspartnerschaften aufgebaut, die auch eine wichtige Rolle bei der Entwicklung k\u00fcnftiger Projekte im Bereich der Nutzung von gr\u00fcnem Wasserstoff spielen werden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
