Seine Themenschwerpunkte liegen auf der Katalysatorpr\u00e4paration und Anwendungen im Bereich der Umwandlung von CO2, Synthesegaschemie und der chemischen Wasserstoffspeicherung. Neben anderen Arbeiten wurde er auch f\u00fcr seine grundlegenden Arbeiten in diesem Gebiet 2023 mit dem renommierten Carl-Zerbe Preis der Deutschen Wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft f\u00fcr nachhaltige Energietr\u00e4ger, Mobilit\u00e4t und Kohlenstoffkreisl\u00e4ufe e.V. (DGMK) ausgezeichnet.<\/p><p>Zusammen mit Fachwissen aus weiteren Anwendungsfeldern von Katalysatoren tr\u00e4gt er insbesondere durch die Expertise in der Synthese definierter Nanopartikel und deren Verwendung in Modelkatalysatoren zum Erfolg des CARE-O-SENE Projekts bei.<\/p><p>Moritz hat Chemieingenieurwesen am KIT studiert und an der Universit\u00e4t Kapstadt (UCT)
