Diese fand in der malerischen Drakensberg Region statt. Die Konferenz mit dem Thema \u201eAdvancing Innovative Catalysis\u201c brachte internationale und lokale F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte aus Wissenschaft, Industrie und staatlichen Laboren zusammen.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Gemeinsam diskutierten sie die neuesten Entwicklungen in den Bereichen Katalyse, Energieumwandlung und nachhaltige chemische Prozesse.<\/span><\/p><div data-testid=\"markdown-response\"><div><\/div><\/div><div data-testid=\"markdown-response\"><p><\/p><\/div><p>Besonders hervorzuheben war der Plenarvortrag von Prof. Ben Feringa, Nobelpreistr\u00e4ger f\u00fcr Chemie 2016. Seine wegweisende Forschung in der Nanotechnologie und Katalyse setzte wichtige Impulse. Dar\u00fcber hinaus war CARE-O-SENE war durch mehrere junge Forschende stark vertreten.<\/p>\n<p>CARE-O-SENE Highlights at CATSA 2024:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Randy Cunningham (Scientistintraining, Sasol Research and Technology, Fischer-Tropsch Group) pr\u00e4sentierte zun\u00e4chst die wichtigsten Erfolge des Programms mit dem Titel \u201eCARE-O-SENE: Catalysing Collaboration for Cleaner Skies\u201c. Er betonte dabei die Bedeutung internationaler Partnerschaften f\u00fcr die Weiterentwicklung von Technologien.<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Revana Chanerika and PhD student Shabaaz Abdullah (University of Cape Town) presented their exciting work on model catalysts, aiming to deepen the understanding of technical catalysts in real-world applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, Prof. Eric van Steen, a primary investigator of CARE-O-SENE, chaired one of the conference\u2019s sessions and  provided valuable guidance and insight to the discussions.  Dr. Timothy Underwood also attended and presented a poster on some of his work outside of CARE-O-SENE, showcasing the  analytical capabilities of the University of Cape Town (UCT), which are available to the consortium.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt bot die Veranstaltung eine hervorragende Plattform f\u00fcr Networking, Wissensaustausch und die Hervorhebung der wichtigen Beitr\u00e4ge junger Wissenschaftler im CARE-O-SENE Programm. Durch Zusammenarbeit und innovative Forschung macht CARE-O-SENE bedeutende Fortschritte bei der F\u00f6rderung der Katalyse f\u00fcr eine sauberere und nachhaltigere Zukunft.<\/p>\n<p><!--
