VOICES OF CARE-O-SENE

The CARE-O-SENE project not only pioneers a new generation of catalysts to boost the decarbonization of the aviation industry – it also brings together experts from all walks of life on an international scale. On this page, consortium partners, industry representatives, early-career scientists, and established researchers share their perspectives on CARE-O-SENE. Once launched, we will add new videos every week or two, so make sure you check back frequently! Welcome, and enjoy listening to the CARE-O-SENE Voices!

Dr Erik Reichelt (Fraunhofer IKTS)

Dr Erik Reichelt from Fraunhofer IKTS in Dresden speaks about the role of his organization in the CARE-O-SENE consortium, the nature and value of partnership in the project and how it can pioneer a collaborative approach to solving global challenges.

Dr Erisa Saraci (KIT)

Dr Erisa Saraci, Senior Scientist and research group leader at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), shares insights into her work on catalyst development and characterization. Together with her team, she contributes to the CARE-O-SENE project, focusing on innovative solutions to convert CO and CO₂ into energy-dense molecules. She emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and close cooperation with industry for a sustainable future.

Dr Erik Reichelt (Fraunhofer IKTS)

Dr Erik Reichelt, head of the Process Systems Engineering Group at Fraunhofer IKTS, outlines his role in the CARE-O-SENE project. His team is responsible for testing newly developed catalysts using fixed-bed methods and innovative measurement techniques to gain valuable insights into reaction kinetics during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Erik highlights collaboration with industry and research partners, emphasizing the project’s contribution to further developing of sustainable Power-to-X processes.
