On May 25th, our partners at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) welcomed the members of the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) of the Helmholtz Research Field Energy. At the event, Dr Lucero Cobos Becerra and Dr Avela Kunene from HZB presented the CARE-O-SENE project in detail. The goal of this catalyst research programme is to pave the way for large-scale production of sustainable aviation fuels by 2025.

Members of the SAB include Prof. Steven Chu, Nobel laureate in physics and former US Secretary of Energy.
