Dr.-ing. reihaneh Pashminehazarme
Reihaneh Pashminehazar is a research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and is working on the CARE-O-SENE project to characterise Fischer-Tropsch catalysts for the production of sustainable aviation fuels. Her work focuses on investigating structural changes in catalyst particles during operation and regeneration. To this end, she utilises modern X-ray imaging techniques, including laboratory micro-computed tomography and synchrotron-based tomography, combined with image processing and complementary characterisation methods. Within the CARE-O-SENE project, there is a particular focus on visualising wax distribution and removal within the catalyst particles, as well as on investigating structural changes during dewaxing and regeneration.
